Giving you more control over your data

On 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect in the EU.

The aim of this legislation is to introduce new rules for how companies store and manage customer data. We have updated our privacy policy to reflect these changes.

Any personally identifiable data you submit to us is retained for the following purposes only:

  • Fulfilling our courier, air freight, sea freight or shop services.
  • Providing a record of your previous orders and transactions, which you can access at any time via your account.
  • Sending important updates, news and special offers via email, or requesting and collecting customer feedback in order to improve our website and services. You can change your communication settings at any time via our new Preference Centre.

We also work to ensure that our systems and your data are secure.

Do you share my personal data with other companies?

Transglobal Express is a freight forwarder. When you book a courier or freight service with us, we will share your full name, address and contact details with the carriers and agents involved in fulfilling your chosen service.

We do not allow other companies to use your personal data for their own marketing purposes.

Can I delete my personal data?

You can now remove receiver data for individual orders older than 12 months. This option is available via the Privacy Settings. This will permanently delete the delivery address and receiver details from our system.

Over the next week, we will be adding the option to deactivate your account. In the meantime, please contact our customer service team. We will retain your data for 12 months, after which time any personally identifiable data is permanently deleted.

You will need to be the account owner with Full Access to perform these tasks. The availability of these options depends on the status of your account.

Your saved address book and payment options can also be managed via your account as before.
